Welcome to Wargames Scenery World!
Here, we are going to tell you a bit more about ourselves and how this site works. First and foremost, we hope it proves useful and informative for you - if you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact us - just click on the 'contact us' link in the menu - we'd love to hear from you.
So, who are we?
This is my site to expound my new found love of making wargames terrain. My name is Andrew, and I've become a little bit obsessed with making wargames terrain over the past few months
I found a lot of help on the Internet, ideas, tips etc. which is where the idea for the site came. I thought it might be good to document what I find, what I make, what hints and tips I come across, link out to the great wargames scenery making sites to be found out there on the web – so this site was born.
I intend to cover projects i am making, how tos, information on materials, tools, techniques, reviews of products and services that may be of use to the wargarmes terrain maker. In other words, gather together lots of information that may be of use to other newbie terrain makers in one place. I may even be brave enough to make some videos at some point in the future. I hope you will find something of interest here – feel free to comment or if you have any ideas or anything else you'd like to contribute, drop me a line via the contact us form. I am no expert, but am improving and love what appears to be my new hobby – so if you understand the glee with which I fell on the lid of a deodorant my wife was throwing out ('that looks like a radome or sensor array cover') or the vac-formed base of the packed of beefburgers we'd just finished cooking ('they look like missile launch pads' – I swear I saw something die behind her eyes at that one..maybe her mother was right) – then maybe you'll find something of interest here!
Why not browse what we have available and check out our (hopefully) useful terrain making articles?. If you have any more questions, you can always drop us a line on the 'Contact Us' page and we'll do our best to help.
Thanks for visiting and come back soon!
